Summer camps good ol fashion truckride.jpg?ixlib=rails 2.1

We hate to say it, but second session is winding down, and soon enough these kiddoes will be heading down the camp road until next year! As sad as it is to see these kids go, we have had an amazing two weeks together filled with great memories. This afternoon camp will head down to the summer tree, a timeless tradition that allows us to take some time to slow down and be thankful for the people we have been with these past weeks and how much we have grown with them. This has been an awesome session, and I can’t help but make my own mini summer tree right here for all of you who couldn’t be here with us this session. Here are a few session highlights and happy moments that I had:

*Zachary Smith cheering while simultaneously running with the baton at Run For The Roses, celebrating early for an epic victory with the Blue Tejas.
*The girls of Cedar Flats and Ridge playing the game “Guess How Old Cullen Grooms Is,” and guessing somewhere between 44 and 52 thanks to his beard.
*My sweet cabin of Sun Down girls- they were silly, messy, and so so much fun! I feel beyond blessed that I got to know each and every one of them, and I can’t wait to watch them grow up at camp.
*The Critter Pond Mixer this morning, where all of camp got to play, swim, and be crazy together at the Critter Pond to the tune of The Beach Boys.

There have been so many awesome moments this session, and I can’t wait to hear what everyone shares today at Summer Tree. We will see you tomorrow parents, but for now I am off to spend as much time as I can with these kids before they have to go!

Inwauh,
