Giving Camp As A Year-End, Tax-Deductible Gift
This morning I had a great conversation with a Huawni alumna who needed clarification on how to give a year-end, tax deductible gift towards the Camp Huawni scholarship program. Any year-end funds given are used each spring to send kids to camp who need financial assistance. So, to make it easy for you or someone (or some company) you know to make a year-end, tax-deductible gift, here’s two easy ways to do so:
Write A Check

Write a check payable to American Camp Association – Camp Huawni Campership Program

Mail your check to: American Camp Association, c/o Camp Huawni Campership Program, 5000 State Hwy 67 North, Martinsville, IN 46151

ACA will mail you a receipt for your tax records once they receive your check.

You’ll need to provide the following information:
- Your NAME or Company Name that’s giving
- Billing Information
- Contribution Amount
- Camp Name for Campership = “Camp Huawni”
- Credit/Debit Card Information

Remember that you only have to fill out the spaces that have a red asterisk next to them. Many fields, like “special event donation” do not have to be filled out.

ACA will mail you a receipt for your tax records once the online donation is complete.
