4th of July Celebration is a special night at Huawni. We had a big cookout last night on Flagpole Hill, Mr. Mike led sing song, and we all got a front row seat to the Huawni Firework Extravaganza!

I’d like to thank the Trout family and TNT fireworks for sponsoring our show last evening. As you can see from the pictures, camper and counselors alike showed up to celebrate America’s birthday and freedom.

We also took a moment yesterday during flag raising and also during sing song to recognize how grateful we are for our freedom. During flag raising, we stopped for a moment of silence to recognize all military who’ve paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom.

Hope you enjoy the pictures….it really was a fun-filled evening!

Sophie and Lindsey were in full red, white and blue get up!

Camp looks on as the Huawni Firework Extravaganza explodes!

Bubbles were popular last night during 4th of July Celebration!

Hike to Carving Trees
We just left campus to head to the Carving Trees. When we get back I hope to post more details on this super fun and super muddy afternoon!
