Humility Support No Matter What

Four words. All Day Tribal Competition. The Red Caddo and the Blue Tejas gathered on Flag Pole Hill this morning with their minds set on winning. All Day Tribal Competition has been a long running tradition here at camp and watching the campers and counselors really buy into the excitement that surrounds today is incredible. The day consists of 7 team events: Soccer Kick Around the Pool, Hotshot, OC Team Run, Inner-tube Relay, Huawni Derby, Run for the Roses, and Tug-O-War. Campers are given the opportunity to not only cheer on their own team, but also the opposing team. Because of this, the feel and culture of Tribal Competition has been nothing but encouraging, upbeat and positive.
Here are the results from 2nd Session All Day Tribal Competition:
Soccer Kick Around the Pool: Tejas
Hotshot: Caddo
OC Team Run: Tejas
Inner-tube Relay: Tejas
Huawni Derby: Tejas
Run for the Roses: Caddo
Tug-O-War: Caddo
Last night after Tug-O-War, campers and counselors were slipping, sliding and munchin’ on snow cones; a perfect way to wind down after a hot and high intensity day at camp. We can’t believe there is only two full days left of camp! We’re soaking in every minute.
