Soaking Up The Last Day

It’s the last day of Camp and we are soaking up every minute of it! This morning we woke up to a brilliant sunrise and it’s been sunny and pleasant all day. This morning campers enjoyed their final activity periods and this afternoon we are soaking up the rays at Critter Pond Mixer. Critter Pond Mixer is when we open up all the activities at Critter Pond (Critter, Slide, Trolley, Swimming, Face Painting) and celebrate our session together.
During rest period campers voted for princess and chief, which is the girl and boy camper that campers feel best represents both girls and boys camp. We will announce the princess and chief tonight at Initiation.
Tonight 78 campers will be initiated into the Huawni Tribe and we are excited to welcome them in as part of our Huawni Family. Initiation is a memorable and solemn ceremony to commemorate our session together and it is a very special time. It is hard to believe Session 1 is coming to an end!!
