Caddo Tejas Win One Each in WWS

The Huawni Wiffleball World Series kicked off last night with both Caddo and Tejas getting one win a piece.
In game 1 on the Tradition Field (between the soccer field and volleyball court) Tejas won 6-1. The game started off with a Sam M. blast— a 3-run homer! Caddo fought back on a Marcus F. run batted in by Elizabeth Anne P.. Jack M. also made a stellar throw to first getting a timely out. Tejas continued the onslaught as Tinsley P. singled in Macy M. and Macy S. doubled in Lauren S. and Tommy D. for a total of three runs.
In game 2 on the Front Yard Field, Caddo shut out Tejas 3-0. All Caddo needed was a 3-run blast from Mitch A.. Tejas made some great defensive plays to keep it close as Jay M. and Caitlyn B. turned a double play.
Caddo and Tejas will square off again on Tuesday night for the championship games 3 & 4.
