Parent Summer Book Club

One of the newer traditions for Huawni Parents is our summer book club. Each summer we encourage our Huawni Moms and Dads to read a book on youth development. It’s a fun and encouraging way to stay connected while your child is in session at Camp. It’s also neat as we relate things about youth development and tie to what’s actually happening at Camp.

This year our book for the summer is Unschooling Rules_ by Clark Aldrich. There are two ways to get this book. You can either order one on your own through Amazon or at a local bookstore, or you can email me travis(at)camphuawni.com and RSVP one to pick up on Opening Day. The first 30 people to send me an email will receive a free book on Opening Day! Unfortunately our order coming to Camp hasn’t come in yet, so these free ones won’t be available until Session 2.
