Favorite Camp Memory?
With everyone at home, we want to give you a refreshing break from the chaos to share your favorite camp things. Today we want you to share your favorite Camp Huawni memory.
My favorite camp memory was a run down the camp road with my favorite camp counselor, Chase Palmer. For some reason this memory sticks out in my mind. I can remember the excitement of getting to run with Chase after supper, which was (and still is) down time to just play. The sun was beaming through the pines, and my number one role model was giving me undivided attention. He encouraged me. We laughed. And I left that day feeling more confident, more supported, with a clearer picture of who I wanted to be. Chase walked the walk.
With so many confusing messages as a teenager, I look back on my time with Chase and am so grateful. Chase Palmer in my life was a pivotal relationship that has made me who I am today. Thank you Chase. Thank you for being a true role model in my life. God used you in a big way.
