Huawni Storyteller: Callie Crawford
Continuing our Huawni Storyteller series is…Callie Crawford! Callie is a recent former camper that will be joining our CIT program this summer. Her favorite thing about Camp Huawni is the closeness she has with her camp friends.
She shares, “We can all come back after almost a full year of not seeing each other sometimes, and just be able to pick up right where left off and like nothing ever changed…I think that’s something that’s really special.”
That’s the uniqueness of camp friendships. Even though campers may experience only a week or two together, many of the friendships they develop last for years - even a lifetime!
