Huawni Storyteller: David Foreman
What is it like to be on Camp Huawni summer staff? David Foreman can tell you all about it! Entering his second year at Huawni, David will serve on our leadership team as one of our Work Duty Coordinators this summer!
David describes Camp Huawni as a place surrounded by a culture of authenticity. He says, “At camp, you get this rare opportunity to be your most genuine self and be completely loved for it.”
For him, it’s the people at Camp that make the experience unique and special. “You’re surrounded by all these incredibly real people and in an atmosphere like that, it’s hard not to make lifelong friends and a genuine human connection,” David says.
Summer is just around the corner, and we look forward to seeing our staff and campers thrive once again in the Piney Woods!
