After a full day of activities, we got into the spirit of competition with a friendly game of Huawni Wiffleball! It was the Red Team versus the Blue Team, and the energy was at its max!
One of the best parts of Huawni Wiffleball - or any sporting event at camp for that matter - is that everyone supports and encourages each other. It can be nerve-racking stepping up to the plate, but with a whole crowd of people cheering for you from behind, you feel like you can do anything!
We saw a lot of hits, a lot of runs, but most of all, a lot of teamwork! During competitive events like these, we hope to teach our campers the importance of selflessness and endurance, whether you win or lose.
The game ended with the Red Team victorious, and everyone headed back to Flag Pole Hill for a Slip ’N Slide party! Campers got to cool down with slippery fun while also enjoying snow cones and cotton candy!!
We can’t believe our first session is almost coming to an end! We’ve loved seeing our campers have so much fun!
