Kicking and Cheering
The heat was on as the Blue Tejas and Red Caddo teams assembled and competed against each other in Huawni Soccer! With loud music playing and crowds enthusiastically cheering and chanting, it felt like we were at a match of the FIFA World Cup!
It was a game of racing reds and blazing blues as campers ran up and down the field chasing after the ball. We saw many great passes, amazing saves, and incredible goals!
Huawni Soccer not only serves as an opportunity for our soccer-savvy campers to show off their athletic prowess, but also as one where campers can truly show their support for each other. Campers encouraging their teammates and reassuring them with “You can do it!” is all part of the Tribal Competition spirit we love to see!
The Red Caddo emerged victorious with a score of 3-1, but there’s still time for the Blue Tejas to make a stand! Tribal Competition continues next week!
