Yesterday morning seemed like a typical camp day - the sun was shining, the birds were singing, and our campers were making their way towards the Dining Hall for breakfast. All of sudden, the counselors came bursting through the doors with fully-filled water pitchers and water pistols at hand. IT’S PLAYDAY!!! And what better way to start off Playday than with a massive water fight with the song “Chicken Train” echoing throughout camp?! Water splashed everywhere and on everyone! (Even Ms. Ada got into the action!) Campers, counselors, and staff went into breakfast soaking wet but everyone was all smiles for the start of a fun-filled day!

Our girl campers divided into different color teams: the Purple Pineapples, the Pinky Pies, the Green Eggs & Hams, and the Yolky Eggs! They cheered each other on as they competed in a series of relay games, including egg toss, pie-in-the-eye, and pouring ice water on counselors’ backs. Meanwhile, our boy campers divided into the Black and the Green teams for a game of Huawni Uprising. We saw incredible teamwork as everyone participated in these games!

We ended this zany and wacky day with Messy Fight! Campers and counselors threw and covered each other with shaving cream, chocolate syrup, spaghetti, cereal, and more with a dance party as the grand finale. We loved giving our campers the opportunity to enjoy care-free and spirited fun!
