See You Next Summer, Session 2!
After a wonderful two weeks in the Piney Woods, Session 2 has come to an end. We closed out the session by finishing up Tribal Competition with Run for the Roses and the Archery Tournament, and ended a great session with Celebration and Initiation. Ultimately, the Red Caddo came away with the victory!
This session, we welcomed 10 new initiates into the Huawni Tribe:
Kate B.
Eleanor H.
Wynnie K.
Emilia P.
Laney P.
Ava R.
Camilla A.
Camila E.
James K.
Jonathan P.
At the end of every session, campers elect a Chief and Princess, who are typically older campers who demonstrate leadership and embody the Huawni spirit. This session’s Chief and Princess are Bo H. and Macy M.! Congratulations to both campers!
We are so grateful for the past two weeks with these campers and are so proud of the growth we’ve seen in them! We are sad to see them leave, but are excited for Session 3 to begin tomorrow!
