As we close out Session 4, we are left with big smiles and fond memories of our time together. Campers this session played hard and loved harder. Throughout our two weeks together, campers challenged themselves and each other. The growth we’ve seen at Camp Huawni this summer is nothing short of inspiring.

We finished up Tribal Competition with Run for the Roses and the Archery Tournament, and finally with Celebration and Initiation. Ultimately, the Blue Tejas came away with the victory!

This session, we welcomed some new initiates into the Huawni Tribe:

Barrett A.
John A.
Cal C.
Andrew C.
Samuel F.
Jhett H.
Maurice O.
Austin W.
Weston C.
Jace R.
William S.
Wyatt W.
Carter G.
Shotaro K.
Kensley D.
Gillian F.
Colleen M.
Robyn P.
Mia P.

At the end of every session, campers elect a Chief and Princess, who are typically older campers who demonstrate leadership and embody the Huawni spirit. This session’s Chief and Princess are Jay S. and Lilly M. Congratulations to both campers!

We are so grateful for the past two weeks with these campers and are so full of pride. While we are sad to see them leave, we can’t wait to see them all again next summer.

It’s not a goodbye, just a see you later!
