We just posted pics from today; oh what a day of fun it was.

Before I tell you what we did, would you like to see what your kids did today? Check out today’s pictures on your CampInTouch account and watch this video:

We ventured down to the famous Pinson Creek for an old fashioned mud and watermelon fight. I didn’t make it too far before I was covered in mud from head to toe. I got to launch an offensive with fellow mud teammates Chloe C., Caroline C., and Kyle H..

Tonight was Talent Show, and boy did we have some talent. I was both a dummy and bad guy as Keshawn G. displayed his martial arts techniques. One of the sweetest moments of the evening was when Paige T. sang a song from Annie the movie; it was so precious.

Keshawn puts his karate skills to work…I was the recipient!

After Talent Show, boys camp had their secret dance party at the DIning Hall and Girls Camp proceeded to knock out their bucket lists. Bucket lists at Huawni consist of cabins making a “bucket list” of things they want to do before leaving camp with their cabin. Volleyball and star tripping were on tonight’s menu, as laughter and fun shined underneath the big East Texas sky full of stars.

Tomorrow we’ll officially be half way done with Session 1; there are friendships already growing that will be hard to part from come Saturday. I know our counselors will hate to see this group leave! BUT…there’s much more fun and memories to be had. Campers are already eyeing tomorrow’s cookout and Wild Woman Hunt!

Until then….sleep well and know that it’s a joy for us to love on your kiddos this week!
