Tuesday Wiffleball World Series Final

The second week is flying by here at Camp…here’s what’s going on.
We had our final full day of Tribal Competition at individual activities. These are crucial points, as 1st-3rd place add points for their overall tribe total points. Last night we had two freshly mowed wiffleball fields and played the final two games of a four game Wiffleball World Series match up. Tejas needed to win both games by a total of 10 points to be able to get a victory in Wiffleball. Both fields were set up with announcer booths; the atmosphere was electric. I got to announce the match on the lower field, and Tejas was up 6-0 going into the last inning. About the 6th inning our game, the crowd roared in the other game as Caddo broke a 3-3 tie in extra innings as Anna G. had the game winning hit. That sealed it for Caddo as they took Wiffleball here in Session 2. We did finish our game, and Tejas ended up winning 6-2. Caddo ended up winning 3 out of 4 games. Afterwards we headed straight for the pool and finished with a sing song under a clear night sky.
Today has been all day tribal competition. We’ll update you as soon as the final results come in!
