We are quickly approaching the weekend, a.k.a. The Turn, and Camp is in full gear. Last night we enjoyed watching our talented campers in the famous, famous, MOST FAMOUS Huawni Talent Show. We are so proud of our campers who participated. The crowd was overly affirming to all our participants. I really think the pictures below tell the story of what talent show is about. The pure joy that beams from our campers’ faces tells it all.

After Talent Show campers gathered on the front lawn for Tribal Competition team announcements. We had 17 first-time, two-week campers who were initiated onto both Caddo and Tejas. I know many of you parents have been anticipating this moment. So, without further ado, here are the teams!

If you would like to order you camper Caddo or Tejas gear to be dropped off to them while at Camp, please visit our camp store here. We are running a bit low on the new shirts. We are reordering youth sizes on these Caddo and Tejas shirts. Email our account if you would like to reserve a youth size that is out.

This morning marks the first time campers will compete for their tribes at individual activities. Tonight we will compete in our first team competition— Huawni Soccer Finals. This usually marks the moment where we gain momentum for the weekend. Tomorrow we will dial back the schedule a bit as we will hike to the Carving Trees and enjoy Cookout, Storytelling, Truckride and Wild Woman Hunt.

We are really enjoying your kids this session. They are a special bunch!

We had some very talented campers show off their talent last night at the Talent Show.

Henry lit up the crowd with his Khaki Pants dance.
