Summer 2020 Is Finally Here!

The summer of 2020 is finally here! We are so excited that camp has begun and that we are still able to run camp as safely as possible. We just kicked off our first session with campers arriving this past Sunday. It has been an absolute blast having campers here playing together, making friendships, and most importantly – staying healthy.

While our campers have been quarantine for 14 days (maybe even longer than that), they are probably excited to be outside – running around and having fun. Luckily for them, we have planned an awesome and fulling summer with plenty to do. We have implemented things in place this summer for our campers to still have the great consistant Camp Huawni experience while also feeling safe.

Camp Huawni has always been a place where it is consistent in an inconsistent world; and it might be just what your camper needs now more than anything. This year has been an unpredictable one, which is why it is so refreshing for our campers to know that they will still get the same amazing experience they had from summers before. If you are a new camper parent, get ready! Your camper will feel at home here at Camp Huawni and dive right into the tradition as if they’ve been here for years. They will be so happy to tell you about all the friends that they made and the memories they have created.

We could not be anymore thrilled for the start of the summer season and to have this special opportunity to continue the traditions and values of Camp Huawni. We cannot wait for more campers to come through our gates this summer!
