Camper Smoke Signals Vol. 2

Sing Song is a special part of Camp. Everyone meets underneath the Pine Trees & starry night to sing Camp classics that we’ve grown to love over the years. Check out what some of our Campers have to say about Sing Song!

“Sing Song is special to me because it is a fun way to bring people together- through music. You can sometimes see deer in the background running through the field. You can hear the music all around you. While you are at Sing Song, you feel good, it’s a great escape. I love when we all sit down together & start singing You Are My Sunshine. The low of Sing Song is when we all sing the “bum bum” at the end of the Camp Song because that means Sing Song is over. Sing Song has helped me get out of my comfort zone by singing in front of other people, which is something I usually never do. I’m not even worried about what others think!” -Alli D.

“I love Sing Song because it is a great end to the day. We all get to sit down and share an experience together. It is one of the only things we do all together as a Camp that doesn’t involve competition, which is why I love it so much. We all sit on the deck by the Pool at night. You can hear all the night sounds & see all the stars. You get to sing all of the songs we have been singing for years. I always love getting to see the little kids & new campers learn the songs. We all get to take in the night & sing as one voice.” – Tess A.
